After calling on the Indiegogo community, game designers across the world have submitted their tabletop concepts in the last year, with some moving from concept to market in partnership with Hasbro.
Today, Hasbro has announced their third challenge in the hopes of finding the next great game that would appeal to anyone who enjoys playing games with family and friends. The company will be awarding one game maker with a $25,000 prize, a trip for four to Hasbro HQ, and the opportunity to work with Hasbro to make your game a reality.
How it works:
- Pitch your game. Submit your idea here by October 23rd and Hasbro will choose 5 finalists to move to the next round.
- Crowdfund your game. With support from Hasbro and Indiegogo, five finalists will launch crowdfunding campaigns and receive $2,000 to help develop their games.
- Win with your game. Hasbro experts and celebrity judge Daymond John will select one Grand Prize Winner.
Ideal submissions will be games that are easy to understand for all types of players and have the potential to create lasting memories for families of all shapes and sizes. All games must have physical components. The challenge is open to submissions from gamers who are residents and citizens of the US, Canada (excluding Quebec), UK, Germany, and France.
The Mr. Toast Card, Gamewinner of Hasbro’s first challenge, is now available online at Target.com and Target stores across the US. Will you be next?
