Vicki Mayo, co-founder and CEO, developed the idea for TouchPoints when her four-year-old daughter was struggling with terrible night terrors. After consulting her friend and neuropsychologist, Dr. Amy Serin, she learned about BLAST technology and saw firsthand how powerful a tool it was in helping her daughter go to sleep. Because the body’s natural stress response is directly relatable to things like sleep, focus, anger, cravings and more – the dynamic duo realized the potential these two little devices had and set out on a mission to bring TouchPoints to the world.

In 2017 Mayo and Serin decided to launch a new version of TouchPoints — TouchPoints basic — on Indiegogo for the first time. “We loved the concept of crowdfunding and we were thrilled to try Indiegogo because of its friendly, engaged and supportive community. We knew our technology could benefit so many people, and that Indiegogo was the right platform to help launch our new model. And we were right!,” says Mayo. TouchPoints basic raised over $200,000 on Indiegogo — 956% of its goal.

Thanks to Indiegogo’s partnership with Arrow Electronics, TouchPoints joined the  Arrow Certification Program and had their product’s technology certified by Arrow. All campaigns with the Arrow Certified Technology badge have had their campaign’s electronic and/or software design reviewed by Arrow, and Arrow has verified that it is feasible for manufacturing
