It’s Go Time! Introducing Our New Podcast

By

Indiegogo podcast on iTunes

We’re beyond excited to announce Go Time: the official Indiegogo podcast. Hosted by Bret Harris, Director of Business Development, and Dave Mandelbrot, Chief Operating Officer, Go Time is a biweekly podcast that provides an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives and inspirations of those crowdfunding on Indiegogo.  Through one-on-one interviews (and occasional comedic interludes), we uncover the challenges, successes and motivating factors experienced by those pursuing their passions.

This show is about eliminating excuses by illuminating the pathways to success, and serves as its own example as Bret & Dave pursue their passion of launching their own podcast…one hilarious and naive step at a time.

To celebrate the inauguration of Go Time, we’re releasing the first three episodes for you to stream, download, subscribe and distribute to your heart’s content. Enjoy!

Episode 01 – Old Bus Tavern

Old Bus Tavern Indiegogo

The dynamic trio behind the Old Bus Tavern restaurant and brewhouse join us in-studio to talk shop on beer, buses, chili, mechanical bulls and launching a band spanking new business in the heart of the historic Mission District in San Francisco. Check out their Indiegogo campaign to see the team in action.

Episode 02 – Miracle Messages

“Crazies.” “Addicts.” “Lazy pieces of ****.” Homeless people don’t have a great reputation in our society, but fortunately there are people like Kevin Adler who are taking steps to dispel some of the myths and share the stories of those less fortunate. On today’s episode, Kevin from Miracle Messages shares his cross-country adventure where he collected stories from over 100 homeless people while utilizing the power of social media to re-connect them with long-lost loved ones. For more details on their amazing journey check out the Miracle Messages Indiegogo campaign.

Episode 03 – Temple of Promise

Temple of Promise Indiegogo

With Burning Man 2015 right around the corner, we thought it prudent to bring in the lead fundraiser for one of Burning Man’s cornerstone art projects – The Temple of Promise. The Temple has been a tradition at Burning Man since 2000, and serves as Black Rock City’s spiritual nexus. For those unfamiliar with Burning Man, this is a great introduction to the annual event.
