Indiegogo Expands Global Crowdfunding Community with Eleven New Countries

Indiegogo is excited to announce that we’re expanding the countries supported on our platform. Starting on September 30, 2021, Indiegogo will welcome entrepreneurs from eleven additional countries to launch crowdfunding campaigns in their local currency and make our global crowdfunding community more vibrant and diverse. Indiegogo backers in these countries will be able to fund campaigns in their local currency as well. 

The new currency options will provide a more seamless experience for backers and entrepreneurs around the world, and represents an important step in advancing Indiegogo’s role as a global platform for global crowdfunding backers and campaign owners.

Indiegogo now accepts crowdfunding campaigns from the following countries and corresponding local currencies:

  • Poland
  • Cyprus
  • Estonia
  • Greece 
  • Lithuania
  • Latvia
  • Malta
  • Slovenia 
  • Slovakia
  • New Zealand
  • Mexico (as of December 15, 2021)
