Today we’re introducing InDemand, a service that enables campaign owners to seamlessly transition into the next phase of operations, including accepting product pre-orders, customer acquisition and earnings growth. In just ten weeks, the pilot program of the service generated millions of dollars for dozens of participants: InDemand is now available to any project that meets its full funding goal.
InDemand participants can capture profitable customers and take product pre-orders from around the world, as well as easily manage customer analytics and data, ongoing communications, orders from a single platform. In addition, participants can maintain exposure, SEO and links built during the campaign, capitalizing on existing web traffic to the campaign page, as well as leverage Indiegogo’s email newsletter and other tools to reach an engaged global audience.
Geek Pulse, a performance audio system, has already generated more than $1.4 million in product pre-orders through InDemand, surpassing the initial $1.1 million raised during their campaign.
Other notable companies and startups already using InDemand include:
Bluesmart: A high-quality carry-on suitcase that you can control from your phone.
TrackR bravo: The slimmest and most elegant item tracking device ever created.
Airtame: A wireless streaming device that works just the way you want.
Plexidrone: A drone that makes aerial photography a breeze.
The Core: A wireless compact speaker with ‘better than stereo’ sound.

How long can you make the in demand service run for?
Anyone else overwhelmed by the amount of spam received during these campaigns from crowd funding marketing companies? It’s pretty sad.

Call me silly but after having a campaign that reached its goal before its deadline, it feels like I am diluting the efforts of the real heroes of my campaign, which were my backers. I told them “a village will do it” and they did! Woo-hoo! And yes, we got over 100% which was wonderful! But InDemand feels like….like it should be something else. Like how about an Indiegogo Store where successful campaigns have another cool platform to sell and market, just not AS a campaign! And if you need help building and marketing it, call me. Think bigger! ~Parker from Blacksburg, VA.
There is surely a principal at stake here… By continuing to give exposure to already successful campaigns on the trending and mailouts, you are reducing the ability of new/struggling campaigns to start trending and gain the much needed exposure they need to succeed (the reason they come to IGG in the first place). Currently there are about 10 successfully completed campaigns in the top 48 trending in technology (thats 20% in the top 3 pages) – some astounding successes, yes, but many of these campaigns have completely blown their targets and no longer need IGG’s help. Pat them on the back, thank them for the 4%, and let them go. Give your support to the campaigns that really need it.
Great addition to the already awesome platform!
very nice
