Team Indiegogo’s Campaign Roundup (11/2/12)

By

Every week, we give team members at Indiegogo an opportunity to talk about the campaigns that have caught their attention. Here’s what we were talking about this week:

An/Product

A World of One’s Own

Location: Pasadena, California

This campaign is about a 4 year old girl and her family. Listen to their story, and learn what a group of passionate high school and college students are doing to help provide food and transportation for this family and others in Nicaragua. Then…help them out!

Bret/Growth

Save the Donkeys Helping People

Location: Mafra, Portugal

Endangered donkeys helping to rehabilitate people with disabilities.

Danae/Growth

ELECTRIC INDIGO – short film

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Besides an awesome title (yes, I’m biased:) I’m exciting to call out this awesome Brussels campaign.  I’m heading there next week, and can’t wait to inspire more entrepreneurs, artists and causes to follow in Electric Indiego’s footsteps!

David/Customer Happiness

Scam Stuff

Location: Austin, Texas

Ever wanted the chance to name someone else’s child? For a measly $10K you can make it happen!

Karen/Growth

Blue Coupe’s New Record

Location: New York, New York

This is a great campaign and these artists have some serious rock pedigree amongst them (Blue Oyster Cult and Alice Cooper). Just goes to show you can make relevant music that connects with people at any age and highlights how crowd funding is the perfect way to connect legacy artists back to their fans.
