Every week, we give team members at Indiegogo an opportunity to talk about the campaigns that have caught their attention. Here’s what we were talking about this week:
Alice (@alicebely)
Turn Outrage into Action by Fighting Sexual Violence
Location: Washington, D.C.
Stand up to sexual violence by contributing to this campaign!
Bret (@gogobret)
Location: San Francisco, California
Pretty cool new jeans with a social mission!
Crista (@cckende)
TOES for dance: Toronto Outreach and Exchange Strategy
Location: Toronto, Canada
David (@MEMORYMANSIONS)
Location: San Francisco, California
Get a sick bluetooth speaker and help bike messengers in need!
Jerry (@jneed)
Kiddify: A Safe Video Platform for Children around the World
Location: Berlin, Germany
John T. (@trigonis)
Location: Helsinki, Finalnd
I like the campaign mainly because it’s from Finland, and the Finnish do really off-the-wall stuff when it comes to film and video. Aside from that, though, they have amassed a strong following of supporters from their first installment of Iron Sky, and have now successfully tapped into it again to make the sequel, planning out every step of their journey, from relaunches of the Iron Sky website and Facebook page to full engagement with the fans from creating an immersive campaign experience for their past, present, and potential contributors alike.
