Team Indiegogo’s Campaign Roundup (11/19/13)

By

There were a lot of campaigns that caught the eyes of team members at Indiegogo this week. Take a look:

Stefan K.

Shedding the Old Me Shedding The Old Me

Location: Los Angeles, California

Awesome Personal Cause Campaign with a really inspirational video about his own journey with weightloss.

Fly Fishing Christmas Gift Fly Fishing Christmas Gift

Location: Seattle, Washington

As an avid outdoorsmen, I believe there is a need for what Jeremy and Shawn are doing. I like the inviting vibe that their instructional video has because beginners often feel overwhelmed and intimidated, but these two are making it feel fun and informative at the same time.

Twice Upon a Time Twice Upon a Time – A Documentary

Location: Beirut, Lebanon

I love excellent storytelling through any kind of creative genre. This documentary explores a unique friendship built on the toughest human struggles (war) in a powerful and thought-provoking way.

SOS Surviving on Stamps SOS: Surviving on Stamps T.V. Show

Location: Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Eating healthy, nutritious meals does not need to be an expensive endeavor. Huge shout out to people like Chef Sarah Bogan for launching this campaign to help fight obesity in the US and educate families on how to make nutritious and highly affordable meals!

Genevieve C. (@genbynight)

Unsound Unsound

Location: San Francisco, California

Help fund this fascinating documentary about how music and other arts can survive in the age of “free.”

Caro J. (@JaramilloCaro)

SaveSammy Tamandua Ecological Reserve

Location: Puyo, Ecuador

Ecuador contributes to the world by being the country with the highest biodiversity per square kilometer, which sadly makes it an ideal prey for illegal trafficking of animals. Tamandua Ecological Reserve wants to acquire more Ecuadorian rainforest so that it can reintegrate animals that are confiscated from trafficking back into their habitats.

SEducation for Kenya Education for Kenya

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Vittana makes education possible for students in Africa. They are now expanding to Kenya!
