To celebrate how we are changing the way the industry is financing and distributing films, we are descending upon Park City, UT this week to attend the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Stop by the Indiegogo Lounge for four days of interviews with filmmakers, tastemakers, and celebrities, watch live demos, network with movers and shakers, and get tips on how to finance your next project.

Every morning we’ll be hosting a panel of experts on the topics you care about the most, and in the afternoon our team will be available to answer your questions.

We’ll kick off our programming with a Fireside Chat with Sharon Waxman, Founder of TheWrap, interviewing Slava Rubin, our Founder and CEO.

On Saturday morning, our CEO, Slava Rubin, will moderate the thought-provoking panel, The Art of the Pitch: Filmmaker as Entrepreneur, with Christine Vachon (CEO, Killer Films), Joana Vicente (Executive Director, IFP) and Kerry Trainor (CEO, Vimeo).

On Sunday, Lance Weiler will host The Rise of the Creative Entrepreneur, an open workshop in collaboration with The Digital Storytelling Lab @Columbia, the Made in NY Media Center by IFP and Slamdance. Attendance is by application only.

Monday will be our final day at in Park City, and we’ll be joined by Peter Baxter, the Founder of Slamdance, Dana Nachman, Writer/Director of Batkid Begins, Sara Kiener, and Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships at Film Presence. Marc Hofstatter, Indiegogo Head of Film Outreach will moderate an in depth discussion on “The Art and Science of Audience Engagement: Practical Tips from the Experts,” which will include our Indiegogo Showcase. We also look forward to welcoming German musician, actor and Youtuber Flula, who will premiere his project Flundance at our Indiegogo Lounge, followed by a live Q&A session. You can RSVP for this event here. Flundance is Flula’s movie within a movie. Flula is traveling from Los Angeles to Park City, making a film on the way and filming a documentary about making his movie. Intrigued?
