Update 4/5/2016:
Congratulations to the winner of the Indiegogo Fellowship: Skye Von’s Falling Out Of Love! Instead of making yet another traditional music video, Falling Out Of Love is partaking in a revolution and creating a fantastic journey into VR, interactivity and role playing. Their story permits you to partake from the characters’ points of view, allowing you to fully immerse yourself and enable the story to become your own.
Learn more about Indiegogo and IFP and how you could be a part of future opportunities.
Since 2014, we’ve partnered with the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) to help support indie filmmakers and artists with the essential resources necessary for all stages of development and distribution. We’ve spoken at and attended events like IFP Independent Film Week, hosted educational workshops such as The Ins and Outs of Successful Crowdfunding and partnered with the organization for its Made in NY Media Center. Now, we’re working with the Made in NY Media Center by IFP once again to empower artists in bringing their dreams to life.

Yep, yep, yep…. I’m with MBM: nice opportunity for New Yorkers, but I live in fly-over land where the NY to LA flights empty their crappers. Great opportunity if you live in or near NY.
It’s a nice idea – consider expanding the fellowship to other facilities outside of NYC.
Does the fellowship include room and board for an out-of-town winner?
So, if one is not in the New York area, one is SOL, right?! Of the tens of thousands of film campaigns on Indiegogo, how many of those were based in the New York area? How many of those were in locations not within an hour’s drive of New York? Not everyone is within close proximity of New York, yet you let everyone know about this “opportunity” for a fellowship. Thanks a lot!
