Recently, a draft majority opinion by Justice Samuel Alito showing the US Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked to the public. If this opinion is published and becomes final, states would immediately have the right to make abortions illegal. 

At Indiegogo, we share the sadness, shock, and outrage at this disturbing turn of events that could threaten the safety and well-being of child-bearing women all over the country. 

It is upsetting that this news should come before Mother’s Day — a day where we collectively celebrate the mothers in our lives and acknowledge the complex work of caring for and raising children. And now, the right to choose when to bear and raise a child is about to be taken away from women.

As a company with a majority of women in leadership positions, we stand in solidarity with women and support their right to choose. We’ve always strived to empower women to take full agency of their lives. This doesn’t just apply to their dreams and business ideas, but every aspect of their being.
