A recent flood on October 25 in the town of Monterosso al Mare took the lives of nine people, devastating a small community located in Cinque Terre, Italy. Francesco Campari, a resident of New York, originally from this town, heard of the catastrophe and quickly jumped at the opportunity to raise at least $5,000 to personally hand to the Mayor himself. Over $30 million of damages have stricken the streets and schools, affecting the lives of the local population. In the efforts to generate support these past days, Francesco has continuously been active to provide at least a short term hope for the future of the town.
