By

Every week, we give team members at Indiegogo an opportunity to talk about the campaigns that have caught their attention. Here’s what we were talking about this week:

Alice/Customer Happiness

Technology for Saving Lives, Limbs and Land

Location: Seattle, Washington

I believe this campaign has the technology to make a difference in the removal of landmines.

Bret/Growth

The Drip Clip

Location: Seattle, Washington

Cool product that can help save lives on the medical front.

Caro/Customer Happiness

FRAGMENTOS: A short film that captures women’s reflective moments

Location: Quito, Ecuador

Along with having the most biodiversity per square kilometer of any nation, Ecuador is place where many cultures meet, merge and transform. This short film’s perspective will bring to light the constantly shifting role a women chooses to play in Ecuadorian society and as an Ecuadorian woman myself, I personally can’t wait to see the richness in character that it portrays.

David/Customer Happiness

Street Sounds

Location: Worldwide – in your city!, Germany

Super cool German film exploring street musician culture across the globe.

John/Growth

RATS!

Location: Jerusalem, Israel

An incredible looking role playing game based around the rodent holy war. What rodent holy war you ask? The one the media isn’t telling you about, click to learn more.

Karen/Growth

Paper States – Be Alone EP

Location: Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

I love the Paper States campaign, it’s a fun and funny video, they have great perks, their music is actually very good and the lead singer is easy on the eyes. The full package.

Maggie/Product

Help De Xin School

Location: Kunming, China / New York, New York

Many children of migrant workers in China come into life with a pretty raw deal.  The De Xin School is working to provide them with education and basic necessities, and they can use all the help they can get.

Matt/Product

Por las Plumas – All About the Feathers

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

I like Por Las Plumas for several reasons, but most importantly because they had great energy and I bet their movie is going to be hilarious. I also really like the idea of filming with regular people instead of professional actors.

Yan/Growth

Critical Ass in Dolores Park

Location: San Francisco, California

A free and fun way to workout, while entertaining others!
