Following our Arrow announcement, we’ve got more big news for Indiegogo tech entrepreneurs. Newegg will be helping Indiegogo campaigners who have received funding with marketing, merchandising, social media, fulfillment, and other logistical support. Add that to the list of ways that Indiegogo is making sure that we help entrepreneurs throughout their product lifecycle.

Our San Francisco office may not yet be feeling any summer vibes, but other parts of the country are definitely starting to feel the sweat. Before any more shirts get permanent armpit stains it may be time to get air conditioning. If you can’t afford central AC and you’re thinking about getting one of those weird window units that drips on all passersby, think again! Noria is much more compact, and can be controlled by an app and can cool a 160 square foot room.
Whether or not you know the difference between astrology and astronomy, you most likely think that stars are pretty. Be sure to bring Tiny1 on your next backpacking trip to take some cool pictures of light-pollution-free night skies. Plus, in case you were confused, it’s really small. You won’t have to play favorites and make your DSLR mad.
Creative Crowdfunders
Remember when Wu-Tang Clan sold a single record to “pharma-bro supervillain” Martin Shkreli? Well, it turns out that there was a fake clause in the contract that reads:
“The buying party also agrees that, at any time during the stipulated 88 year period, the seller may legally plan and attempt to execute one (1) heist or caper to steal back Once Upon a Time In Shaolin [the album], which, if successful, would return all ownership rights to the seller. Said heist or caper can only be undertaken by currently active members of the Wu-Tang Clan and/or actor Bill Murray, with no legal repercussions.”
Because she found the idea so hilarious, a composer-slash-lyricist and composer-slash-nothing else wrote a musical about it. Martin Shkreli’s Game: How Bill Murray Joined the Wu-Tang Clan is raising funds on Indiegogo so it can premiere in July at the Midtown International Theater Festival.

Undocumented immigrants face unimaginable challenges when they move to a new country. Asian immigrants “are assumed to have an easier pathway to success,” which is not only a ridiculous assumption, but impossible for many that don’t have the right papers. Living in fear of deportation makes it an incredibly difficult subject to breach, so two migrants rights organizations teamed up to create AMPLIFYHER a zine (that’s short for magazine in case you didn’t know) where women from this community can speak out an express themselves creatively.
Where are they now? Indiegogo Success Story
Greycork made us re-think our trips to Ikea with its minimalist, easy-to-assemble furniture. Since running a very successful Indiegogo campaign, they have not only raised $1M in VC funds, they have also expanded their offering with a whole living room set. For the indecisive, they even have a home try out program so that you can test the furniture before committing to it. If only marriage worked like that.
