UK-based singer turned to IndieGoGo when she took a sharp left turn from being with a major music label to taking the independent route by asking her fans to fund her next single. Her fans received an exclusive Limited Edition CD single of the track that includes b-sides and exclusive acoustic versions in exchange for a minimum contribution of $10.

 

HERITAGE and GENERATION TOURING ART EXHIBITION

Another UK-based artist is raising additional funds for her touring art exhibition project. For a contribution of $20, funders receive limited edition prints using the larger images from the touring artwork.

WAR – THE HUMAN COST

This ambitious project that has 4 years in the making is a 260-page anti-War (Non-Profit) comic book anthology & CD which raised money for Campaign Against Arms Trade. KILIFI KIDS – CELLPHONES FOR HEALTH IN KENYA

Kilifi Kids is an all-volunteer partnership of young professionals in the US and Kenya working to make real changes in the world that focuses on the health and education of kids in a small region of Kenya called Kilifi. Co-founder Michael Olsen and board member Erik Michielsen started this IndieGoGo campaign to pay for travel costs to Kenya to lay the groundwork for the mHealth (Mobile Health) pilot project.

 

MUSIC AGAINST MYELOMA

Project owner Slava Rubin, whose father died of Myeloma had partnered with International Myeloma Foundation and created the "Music Against Myeloma," with a goal to raise awareness and funds.
