This campaign is in its last several hours of funding today (and has reached and surpassed its $6,000 goal!). But we think this story is pretty fascinating and wanted to share it.
Judith Craig was found in a ditch in Haiti just after her birth. She was adopted as an infant by a white missionary family and moved to Canada. But after reaching adulthood she returned to Haiti in an attempt to find the birth mother who had abandoned her.
After the earthquake in Haiti last year, Craig became even more involved with Haitian adoptions, and this film examines the issue of transnational, trans-racial adoptions while interweaving Craig's own story and the search for her biological family.
